Why is Ultram prescribed
Ultram aka Tramadol is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. It also may be used to treat pain caused by surgery and chronic conditions such as cancer or joint pain.

What are some possible Ultram side effects
Although side effects from Ultram are not common, they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

- headache
- drowsiness
- blurred vision
- upset stomach
- vomiting
- diarrhea
If you experience any of the following symptoms after taking Ultram, call your doctor immediately:
- fast heartbeat
- redness, swelling, and itching of the face
- numbness or tingling of the hands and feet
- difficulty breathing
- changes in urination
- seizures
In case of emergency Ultram overdose
In case of Ultram overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
